Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Limited has joined the Ganga cleaning campaign. Reliance has joined hands with the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) to take forward the Ganga cleanliness campaign. Under the ‘Namami Gange Program’, Reliance Jio will work to take the messages of Clean Ganga among the people.
Reliance Jio will send messages of National Mission for Clean Ganga to crores of its customers through SMS and digital banner push notifications. These messages will be sent only during the Kumbh Mela. Leveraging the wide reach of Jio network, NMCG will be able to directly and instantly spread the message of Clean Ganga to crores of people across the country during the Kumbh Mela.
At the same time, a few days ago, Reliance Jio launched the Kumbh app. Now ‘Ganga Anthem’ will be added in this Kumbh app. Kumbh app was specially made for JioPhone users. More than 50 million JioPhone users will now be able to enjoy ‘Ganga Anthem’ along with other features of this app.
Reliance has signed an MoU with ‘National Mission for Clean Ganga’ to take the importance of clean Ganga among the people. Under the MoU, Reliance Jio, which has made its reputation in the telecom sector, will now work to make people aware of the cleanliness of the Ganga.
